Thunderbird Three
Thunderbird Three is the space ship used for supplying and maintaining Thunderbird 5 by International Rescue. It is also used for space rescue missions.

It is capable of reaching escape velocity - around 25,000 mph (Mach 33) using a combination of chemical and ion-drive engines.

Thunderbird Three is piloted by Alan or John Tracy and launched vertically straight through the centre of the roundhouse on Tracy Island and into orbit.

All the Thunderbirds were designed by Brains, the technical genius behind International Rescue.

The series was designed by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and first broadcast in the UK in 1966.
