Thunderbird Five
Thunderbird Five is the communications space station used by International Rescue.

It orbits the Earth monitoring distress calls and relaying them to Tracey Island. Normally manned by a single crew member, it has a docking port for Thunderbird Three to allow crew changeover.

All the Thunderbirds were designed by Brains, the technical genius behind International Rescue.

The series was designed by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and first broadcast in the UK in 1966.
